Adatte Design studio entirely designed display windows at Baselworld for Breitling. Each element is custom-made. Watch stands have been developed by us to stand perfectly vertical, easy-to-use and as minimalistic as possible and beautiful at the same time.
We also developed bespoke mechanical devices called split-flaps to display brand environment. For the very first time, instead of showing text or icons, these split flaps displays images. These images can be split or full, using the 3 windows.
The corrugated panels are inspired from those of the 1926 Ford Trimotor’s corrugated skin. They were made using a complex and confidential technique that required a special machine that uses water to shape aluminum sheets, the exact same used by Audi to shape the car body.
